We are a passionate team of design creatives and researchers.
Krill Design is an Italian design studio specialized in the development of new design products within a 100% circular and sustainable process.
It was born in 2018 from the meeting of three people who share a passion for innovation, sustainability, and design: Ivan Calimani, Martina Lamperti, and Yack di Maio.
The consideration of the three founders is quite simple: there are already several supply chains that intercept and recover waste from the production of paper, glass, and plastic, while for the organic by-products of the food chain, there are no virtuous solutions. The three founders converted this problem into an opportunity, experimenting with the creation of innovative materials, which, combined with the 3D printing method, gave life to a successful and environmentally friendly production process.
Krill Design has been awarded as Best Performer for circular economy services and recognized by the World Economic Forum as an example of sustainability. Krill Design joins BeCorp NetZero 2030 programme.
